The double-decker Norwegian giant is perhaps symbolizing, which team is the hottest favourite for the upcoming weekend’s Sprint races.
On Thursday it has been also decided that the World Cup programme will continue as planned with events in Sklarszka Poreba.
The Czech Team has arrived in Vysočina Arena on Thursday too. "Our athletes enjoy a rest day today, but we have planned two training sessions for Friday,” said the sports director of the XC skiing section by the Czech Ski federation Čestmír Skrbek.
The biggest stars of the weekend’s races in Nové Město are Kristina Kowalczyk of Poland and the US ski star Kikkan Randall – the 31-year-old Alaskan native who dominated the last two seasons of the Sprint World Cup.
One of the last journalist accreditations has been submitted by Mr. Brian Pinelli, the reporter of the USA Today. "My task for Nové Město is to write an extensive report about Kikkan, her participation at the Sprint events here and also her training towards the Olympic in Sochi,” commented Brian about why he arrives to Vysočina.
