Shortly after Wednesday noon the president of the Czech Biathlon Union Mr. Jiří Hamza announced that the tickets for the grandstands in Vysočina Arena for all three program blocks are sold out. Auditorium with fixed and mobile grandstands in the stadium has a capacity of about 17,000 spectators. In the premises around the race-track organizers expect another 15 thousand fans.

Biathlon fever was promoted by the achievements of Czech Biathlon Team at last year's Olympics in Sochi and also during this season.

"We are really looking forward to the turbulent atmosphere on our home-ground," responded to a report of completely filled stadium the head coach of Czech Biathlon Team Ondřej Rybář. "What more can you ask. Only to have the majority of the audience filled with domestic fans," said Rybář.

The entire Czech Team already started their final preparation in Nové Město. In the morning the female part spent their training at the shooting range and men were training on skis. In the afternoon the two teams swapped roles.

"Skiing tracks were once again brilliant. So good I have't seen this whole season so far. The conditions are just excellent here. Also we feel verz well at the hotel. It is really cosyand we feel here like home," praised the conditions in Nové Město Rybář.

In the afternoon biathletes were struggling with a bit windy weather. "It was not that dramatic. But the wind here can be a problem during the race," said the head coach who is also afraid about the flu epidemic which is quite heavy in the Czech Republic these days. "We will try to do our best to avoid the infection. We are trying to be islolated in the hotel. But of course that there are always things you can not resist," said Rybář.
